Take a look at the drums on this page and I think you will see something pretty special! These are brand new drums designed by an American called JT Whitney and I think he is about to prove to be one of the biggest innovators the drums business has seen in 40 years. He is pushing the boundaries of drum design with new concepts of shell construction and efficacy and a fabulous innovation in hardware concepts too! To top this he has come up with an incredible sounding drum kit that fits into a single case. Yes. You heard me. A nesting drum kit.
I used to put all my single-skinned Premier drums inside about 3 cases, but this guy has started a whole new ball game.

He seems to have succeeded where lesser men have failed and built a genuinely collapsible, portable drum kit that looks and sounds great! For every drummer that just gets tired of waiting for the rest of the band to get out of the darn way so I can pack up this monster and drag it out to the van! JT has built a kit you can really play. Easily pack up. AND CARRY HOME BY YOURSELF. I was so taken by this stuff I emailed him immediately for more details. WATCH THIS SPACE. JTW has arrived! The drums just became an instrument!

He told me that his kits are indeed a bit special; which is what I suspected when I saw the pictures and videos. They are not your regular factory animal!
The man makes them himself by hand; each one lovingly crafted in his workshop. In the pictures they look like the kind of thing that will double in value a few years from now.
He says there are several kits already in the UK, mostly in the London area. The Scots are also hot on the scene as one was recently sent to Glasgow! Go and try one out now and tell us what you think, if I don't beat you to it!
